Jasna Bogdanovska

A native of Macedonia, Jasna Bogdanovska received both her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Fine Art Photography and her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photographic Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York.

Jasna is active in the advertising world as a Creative Director and has worked on advertising campaigns for international clients both in the USA and Europe. Her client list includes Dr. Scholl, T-Mobile, and Dove.

In her personal artwork she explores the issues of femininity, home, religion, nostalgia and belonging using various mediums such as photography, installation, and video. She exhibits her work internationally in solo as well as group exhibitions.

Jasna has taught photography classes at Rochester Institute of Technology and Keuka College. Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Photography at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY.

25% of the sales of Jasna’s photography go to the Women’s Foundation of Genesee Valley. Women’s Foundation provides grants to programs making a real difference in the lives of women and in future of girls. 

Jasna would like to help support a friend in Macedonia who desperately needs a life saving surgery.
