Janine Susz

Janine Susz is a professional graphic designer who has lived in the Rochester area for 25 years. She has worked in many areas of design, from marketing campaigns, print production, corporate identities, direct marketing, to local advertising including TV and radio. She has received awards nationally for design from the Cable Awards, Penny Awards, and locally in the Addy’s.

She has been teaching graphic design at Bryant & Stratton College for the past 13 years and has been developing many creative minds. She holds a BFA in graphic design from RIT and is a graduate student at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, pursuing her MFA in graphic design. She has always used photography as part of her design process and was very influenced by many local photographers throughout her design career. She has always loved looking though the lens and has photographed weddings, portraits and landscapes but capturing the unexpected moment is priceless.

Janine’s entrepreneurial career has ranged from Director at Community Nursery School to Art Director for J-9 Designs to owner of Healthy Homes Energy Services, a cellulose insulation company with her husband, along with being the marketing director at Healthy Homes of New York. Her most recent venture is a beautiful vacation/wedding property in Dansville NY: Redmond House. With the passing of her mom, this house has become a destination for family reunions, old friends gathering and weddings. It has become her passion and incorporates her design skills and photography experience with a few decorated cakes thrown in.

She looks at every opportunity like it’s a new canvas – it has unlimited possibilities.

Janine is above all, an amazing Mother & wife, as well as a young Grandmother to her adorable granddaughter, Evelyn.

25% of the sales of Janine’s work will be donated to the Breast Cancer Coalition and help to develop workshops and retreats in breast health and awareness in memory of her Mother, Sondra Laine.
